Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago that belongs to the State of Pernambuco, in Brazil. This paradise is comprised of 21 islands and islets that occupy an area of 17km², 545 Km away from Recife, where lives a population of just over 3,000 inhabitants. Since 1988, about 8km² was declared as National Park for the protection of endemic species and the routers dolphin concentration area, which gather daily at the Dolphin Bay, the most regular observation place of the species in the world.
The island is comprised of 14 beaches in the inside sea and seven beaches in the outside sea. The location is a stronghold of recreational diving of international level. The warm waters allow dives up to 50 meters depth, which can be made without the need of special neoprene clothes.
The access to the island is made exclusively by the cities of Recife, the capital of Pernambuco State and Natal, the capital of Rio Grande do Norte, in Brazil. For enjoying the wonders that this paradise offers the ideal is to book at least five days.
